MEETING COMMENTS:
Rock It Fernando – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Sandown for fail to chase by reason of injury. Weighing 30.3kgs and beginning from box 1, Rock It Fernando completed the 515mtrs trial distance in a time of 29.78. Rock It Fernando placed 1st in a field of 4 winning by 1 1/4 lengths. Rock It Fernando has been cleared to race at all tracks.

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:
Mr Jason Thompson reported to stewards that Deliver (which performed below market expectations on Thursday the 5th of July) showed signs of soreness in the right thigh and hamstring. Deliver also showed signs of a slower than normal recovery rate, and as a result the greyhound is being treated with a course of antibiotics.
