Madness was quick to begin. 

Leaping Lydia checked off Xalynn Bale soon after the start. Leaping Lydia contacted the running rail on the first turn. Urana Rose crossed out on the first turn, severely checking Urana Rose, Madness and Xalynn Bale and causing Xalynn Bale to fall. Urana Rose visibly turned its head and crossed out on the home turn, severely checking Madness. 

Xalynn Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right fore metacarpal and left hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Pursuant to GAR 42(2), Stewards issued a warning to Mr D. Turnley the trainer of Leaping Lydia after he left the course without the permisson from Stewards when required to have his greyhound vetted. Mr Turnley was contacted via telephone and subsequently returned to the course.

Leaping Lydia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain, right back muscle injury and an abrasion to the left triangle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Urana Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right abraded paw pad/webbing, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr S. Mallia, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Urana Rose was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Mallia pleaded guilty to the charge, Urana Rose must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

It's All Luck and Little Danish collided soon after the start checking It's All Luck.  Zipping Martha and It's All Luck collided approaching the first turn checking It's All Luck.  Little Danish checked off Perfect Player on the first turn. It's All Luck checked off Rock Me Elijah on the first turn.  Zipping Martha and Little Danish collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.   Zipping Martha and Little Danish collided on the home turn checking Little Danish. 

Zipping Afro – New declared weight of 31.2kgs, last raced at 32.9kgs.

Taylor's Chip and Mates Rates were quick to begin.  Bring Your Banjo, Zipping Afro and Four Keeps were slow to begin.

Bring Your Banjo and Mates Rates collided on the first turn checking Black Mintie and severely checking Mates Rates.  

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Starter Miss O. Cartechini did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Flashy De Goey and Cyclone Rhonda were quick to begin.  Timmy Tunga was slow to begin.

Still Rockin' and Mad Eye Madam collided soon after the start.  Akina Ivy crossed out on the first turn severely checking Still Rockin' and Timmy Tung and causing Mad Eye Madam to fall; Akina Ivy, Still Rockin' and Timmy Tunga raced wide and lost ground as a result.  Flashy De Goey and Cyclone Rhonda collided on the second turn checking Cyclone Rhonda.  

Immediately following this event, Stewards announced to hold all tickets due to Mad Eye Madam falling on the first turn and proceeding to run back in the opposite direction and meeting the oncoming greyhound’s half-way down the home straight, over the concluding stages of the event. After viewing all available official race vision, and acting on their live observations, Stewards were satisfied that the incident had no effect on the outcome and placings for the event and announced All Clear on the numbers 2/ 5/ 3/ 8.

Mad Eye Madam underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Farfalla Nera – Late scratching at 6.23pm due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Representative Ms L. Repici informed Stewards that she had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Stewards have advised Ms Repici that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Rapanui Surprise and Looby Sky were quick to begin. 

Akina Archer and Destini Jaguar collided soon after the start.  Spyglass checked off Looby Sky approaching the first turn.  Rapanui Surprise and Our Centurion collided approaching the first turn.  Akina Archer checked off Spyglass on the first turn causing Akina Archer to race wide.  Rapanui Surprise and Spyglass collided on the first turn checking Rapanui Surprise.  Our Centurion and Looby Sky collided several times approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds, Rapanui Surprise and Destini Jaguar were checked as a result.  Our Centurion checked off Rapanui Surprise on the third turn.  Looby Sky clipped the heels of Destini Jaguar on the third turn.  Akina Archer and Class Edge collided on the home turn.  Our Centurion and Destini Jaguar collided on the home turn.  Akina Archer tired in the home straight.

Akina Archer underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Pink Floyd and Pure White Evil collided soon after the start checking Pink Floyd.  Beau Gem, Dex's Affair and Jacqui Shoshone collided approaching the first turn checking Beau Gem, Dex's Affair, Jacqui Shoshone, Pink Floyd and Pure White Evil.  Beau Gem and Dex's Affair collided on the first turn checking Dex's Affair, Jacqui Shoshone and Pure White Evil.  Light The Track and Episode collided on the third turn checking Light The Track.  Beau Gem and Pure White Evil collided in the home straight checking Beau Gem and causing the greyhound to stumble.

Perrie The Fairy, Property Power, Blackhawk Parker and Desiree Dancer collided soon after the start checking Blackhawk Parker. Noaki Colour was quick to begin. Where's Lola, Magnus Keroma, Lucky Millie and Bolta Neveelk were slow to begin.

Royal Jebrynah, Lady Bang Bang and Where's Lola collided on the first turn checking Where's Lola, Magnus Keroma and Lucky Millie.  Royal Jebrynah and Lady Bang Bang collided approaching the second turn.  Royal Jebrynah and Bolta Neveelk collided on the third turn.  Royal Jebrynah checked off Magnus Keroma entering the home straight.  

A post-race sample was taken from Doc's Reward - winner of the event.  

Stewards spoke to Mrs Debbie Selleck, the trainer of Over Talking and the representative for Fab Senorita (kennel mates) regarding the scratching's of these two greyhounds. Mrs Selleck stated that Over Talking had been to her local vet and would not be racing for approximately three weeks due to illness and Fab Senorita was suffering from diarrhea. In accordance with GAR 20(3)(v) Stewards directed that a vet certificate be produced for both greyhounds clarifying the illness before any further nominations will be accepted.

This event was delayed by 2 minutes due to insufficient times between races.

Blair Bale and Chase "Em Spolly were quick to begin.  Front Bar and Miss Laquisha were slow to begin. 

Reap The Rewards and Blair Bale collided soon after the start checking Reap The Rewards.  Miss Laquisha, Jaxon's Express and On Degoey collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Laquisha. Front Bar, Jaxon's Express and On Degoey collided on the first turn checking Front Bar, Reap The Rewards, Miss Laquisha and On Degoey and severely checking Jaxon's Express.  Blair Bale visibly turned its head in the home straight. 

Blair Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left metatarsal spike wound, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr J. Collins regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Blair Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Blair Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ants In Pants was slow to begin.

Furtado was quick to begin. Princess America was slow to begin.

Tinker Buzz and Sonny Micawber collided approaching the first turn checking Tinker Buzz.  Reco Tonic checked off Sonny Micawber approaching the home turn. 

Krypto Jam was quick to begin.

Koitsenko, Rosta Power, Spolly's Girl and Lord Davinci collided approaching the first turn checking Koitesenko, Rosta Power and Spolly's Girl.  Lord Davinci and Alina Grand collided on the first turn checking Alina Grand, Koitsenko and Rosta Power.  Bigtime Bruce checked off Lord Davinci on the first turn severely checking Krypto Jam.

Alina Grand underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
