Steward's Report
Shellbrook was slow to begin.
Sizzlin' Sanchez and Tuesday's Grace collided soon after the start. Hail Storm crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Nitro Nicole. Lord Jack, Sizzlin' Sanchez, Tuesday's Grace and Hail Storm collided approaching the first turn checking Sizzlin' Sanchez, Tuesday's Grace, Shellbrook and Hail Storm. Lord Jack checked off Hail Storm on the first turn checking Vixstar and St. Jenson. Lord Jack checked off Vixstar on the second turn and collided with St. Jenson. Vixstar checked off Hail Storm on the third turn. Shellbrook and Vixstar collided several times entering the home straight, in the home straight and approaching the winning post.
Trainer Mr G. Couldridge requested Tuesday's Grace undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind foot. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
