Ulyssa Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left lateral hock and right medial carpal. No stand down period was imposed.

Trainer Mr G. Couldridge requested Tuesday's Grace undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind foot. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Kiss Me Nicki was quick to begin.  Foxzami Thriller and Whitehart Magic were slow to begin.

Rocketing Ruby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to a left chest muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Representative for the greyhound Rock Like Jagger, Mr C Capuano, reported prior to the race that he was of the opinion the greyhound was limping, and did not appear fit to compete. On-Track veterinarian Dr Siu was unable to report any apparent injury. Due to Mr Capuano's concerns, Stewards accepted his explanation why he was not comfortable to race the greyhound and Rock Like Jagger was declared a late scratching at 3:16 by Order of the Stewards. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.
