Euro Marsh, Ulyssa Bale, Zipping Arden, Sheriff Max and Alfie Mikado collided soon after the start checking Ulyssa Bale and Zipping Arden, Ulyssa Bale contacted the running rail as a result. Euro Marsh and Zipping Arden collided on the first turn. Alfie Mikado raced wide from the first turn to the home turn.
Ulyssa Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left lateral hock and right medial carpal. No stand down period was imposed.
