Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Kaylin.
Atomic Icon, Challis Anne, Tat Scooby, Moyarra Fantasy, Kaylin, Invictus Lawless and Rurik collided several times soon after the start severely checking Moyarra Fantasy, Rurik and Atomic Icon. Moyarra Fantasy and Tat Scooby collided at the 200m mark. Atomic Icon and Rurik collided at the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Atomic Icon and Invictus Lawless collided at the 150m mark. Rurik faltered approaching the 100m mark. Atomic Icon checked off Invictus Lawless at the 50m mark.
Rurik underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal sprain, left monkey muscle and a right tarsal sprain. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
