Steward's Report
My Diamond Girl – New declared weight of 27.9kg, last raced at 29.7kg.
Lakeside Larry was slow to begin. Roman Zanti was very slow to begin - 1 length.
Lakeside Larry and Roman Zanti collided soon after the start. Smashing Banjo and My Diamond Girl collided soon after the start. Aerolithology and Tinker Chuck collided approaching the 250m mark. Smashing Banjo and Spicy Cupcake collided at the 200m mark checking Spicy Cupcake. Aerolithology raced erratically throughout the event and visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Aerolithology underwent a post-race veterinary examinationand was found to have left shin soreness and an abrasion to the nose. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Robinson trainer, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Aerolthology was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Robinson pleaded guilty to the charge, Aerolithology must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Lakeside Larry underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have mild laceration to the left hock. No stand down period was imposed.
