An out of competition sample was taken from What Feeling on 9 May 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Rapid Hennessy – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing following a change in kennels.

What Feeling and Rapid Hennessy were slow to begin.

Elite Eagle and What Feeling collided soon after the start. Miss Cheekiness and Silver Sultan collided soon after the start. Sayonara Sweetie and Elite Eagle collided at the 250m mark. Elite Eagle checked off Got Some Zip at the 250m mark. Elite Eagle and Silver Sultan collided at the 200m mark. Silver Sultan crossed in at the 200m mark. Got Some Zip and Miss Cheekiness collided several times from the 100m mark to the 50m mark. Elite Eagle eased approaching the 50m mark and failed to pursue the lure with due commitment checking Miss Cheekiness, Got Some Zip and Sayonara Sweetie. Got Some Zip checked off Miss Cheekiness at the 50m mark.

Elite Eagle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left shoulder. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr S. Condon the owner, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Elite Eagle was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Condon pleaded guilty to the charge, Elite Eagle must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Miss Cheekiness underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have pad injury on the left foreleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Meehan Louie on 9 May 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Soho Girl – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a left shoulder injury and seasonal spell.

As Only Is - Late scratching at 11:54am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian due to a left hock and left hip injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Zoe's Intention and Spot On Mick went up with the lids at box rise and were slow to begin.

Soho Girl and Tilson collided at the 300m mark. Lady Audacious and Meehan Louie collided at the 250m mark. Soho Girl and Tilson collided at the 250m mark. Soho Girl checked off Tilson at the 150m mark. Meehan Louie and Lady Audacious collided at the 50m mark.

Janray Lucky One – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a twisted bowel.

Janray Lucky One and Nasty Rach were slow to begin.

Janray Lucky One crossed out soon after the start checking Good Work Johnny and Nible Nala. Mischief Reigns and Jiggly Wiggly collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Janray Lucky One and Nimble Nala collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark checking Nimble Nala and severely checking Janray Lucky One which stumbled as a result. Mischief Reigns checked off Jiggly Wiggly approaching the 200m mark. Mischief Reigns, Good Work Johnny and Nasty Rach collided approaching the 50m mark and again approaching the winning post checking Mischief Reigns, Good Work Johnny, Nasty Rach and Janray Lucky One.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Springvale Misty, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Banjo Plato was slow to begin.

Angel's Comet and Chillin' The Fat collided soon after the start. Banjo Plato crossed to the outside at the 300m mark.

An out of competition sample was taken from Meehan Bazz on 9 May 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Jaggered Stone – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing following a change of kennels.

Jaggered Stone and Tory's Rocket were quick to begin.

Meehan Bazz and Silver Sky collided soon after the start. Jaggered Stone and Bubsy John collided soon after the start. Tory's Rocket crossed in soon after the start and collided with Jaggered Stone. Jaggererd Stone and Pectoralis collided at the 300m mark. Pectoralis and Taking Off collided at the 300m mark. Tory's Rocket and Jaggered Stone collided at the 250m mark.

Gotham Queen – New declared weight of 28.3kg, last raced at 29.7kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Gotham Queen.

Well Armed and De Belin collided soon after the start. Well Armed crossed to the outside at the 300m mark checking Just Jimmy. Lucky Millie and Tat Odin collided approaching the 250m mark. Lucky Millie crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark. Miss Ledekey checked off Gotham Queen at the 100m mark.

De Belin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasion to the left calf. No stand down period was imposed.

Over And Away – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a left hock injury.

Over And Away, Murrabit Benny, Aston Xanadu and Raloo Barbara collided soon after the start checking Over And Away, Murrabit Benny and Aston Xanadu.  Chopping Spuds, Raloo Barbara and Azure Dragon collided at the 250m mark. Chopping Spuds checked off Raloo Barbara at the 150m mark checking Over And Away.

Zipping Cisco and Bela Natali collided soon after the start. Why Not Dean and Ko Rapid Jack collided soon after the start. Madonya and Flash Logie collided at the 200m mark. Ruby's Boy and Zipping Cisco collided approaching the winning post.

Bela Natali underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left and right mokey muscles. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Madonya - the winner of the event.

Tatolo was slow to begin.

Tat Loxy and Samba King collided soon after the start.

Scott Dynamism, Tat Loxy and Samba King collided at the 300m mark checking Tat Loxy. Scott Dynamism checked off Fancy Hope approaching the 200m mark. Tat Loxy and Samba King collided at the 200m mark. Lexie's Boy and Sukhoi Su collided approaching the 100m mark.

Wet And Wild and Strike Power collided several times from the 100m mark to approaching the winning post. Wet And Wild checked off Strike Power on the winning post.

Courage Crest and Our Turbo Girl collided at the 100m mark. My Fernando Tim and Kireina collided approaching the 50m mark. My Fernando Tim, Tophat And Tails and Kireina collided approaching the winning post checking Kireina.  Courage Crest and Our Turbo Girl collided several times approaching the winning post severely checking both greyhounds which lost ground as a result.
