A pre-race sample was taken from Prebble Keeping.
Taking Off and Miss Cotton Sox were slow to begin. Muzzle Welsh and Nessie Bale collided soon after the start. Taking Off checked off Pyreness Daisy approaching the first turn. Muzzle Welsh and Pyrenees Daisy collided on the first turn. Miss Cotton Sox brushed the rail on the first turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Going To Pot - the winner of the event.
Miss Cotton Sox underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Prebble Keeping underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
