Lucky Gypsy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left quadriceps injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed
Stewards spoke to Mr S Jack, the trainer of Lucky Gypsy regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1). Lucky Gypsy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Jack pleaded not guilty to the charge, Lucky Gypsy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
