Samples were taken from Hard Boiled and Early Express upon arrival at the course
Pre-race samples were taken from Black Market, Campeon and Snip Snap.
Oliver Cruise and Subscapularis were slow to begin.
Oliver Cruise and Subscapularis collided soon after the start. Black Market raced wide soon after the start colliding with Early Express. Challis Annie and Early Express collided at the 250m mark. Challis Annie checked off Hard Boiled at the 150m mark. Early Express crossed to the rail approaching the 100m mark checking Challis Annie, Oliver Cruise and Hard Boiled.
A post-race sample was taken from Subscapularis – unplaced in the event.
