Steward's Report
Destiny Stone was slow to begin. Private Moler and Chapardeur collided approaching the first turn checking Chapardeur. Yabba Dabba Dee checked off Chapardeur approaching the first turn. Carr's Collide and Private Moler collided on the first turn. Yabba Dabba Dee and Chapardeur collided on the first turn. Yabba Dabba Dee checked off Destiny Stone approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight. Chapardeur raced wide in the home straight.
Following the running of this event the Judges semaphored the placings as 7-1-6-5, which was correct. However before displaying the all clear on the semaphore board the judges mistakenly displayed the placings as 7-1-6-4 with the all clear appearing for approximately 1 minute until stewards advised them of their error, then the correct numbers 7-1-6-5 were posted with the all clear then given to the TAB and displayed on the semaphore board.
Stewards reminded the judges(A.Hawkswell and B.Johns) of their responsibilities and that more care is taken in ensuring that the correct numbers are semaphored before displaying the all clear.
