Steward's Report
Thruxton and Joy's Boy were slow to begin. Cuzin Bob, Dongy, Thruxton and Reckless Charm collided soon after the start checking Thruxton. Cuzin Bob crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Reckless Charm and severely checking Dongy. Pattie Phevos and Ragtime Adrian collided on the first turn. Cuzin Bob was checked off Pattie Phevos approaching the second turn checking Ragtime Adrian, Joy's Boy and Crystal Hand. Reckless Charm and Ragtime Adrian collided on the second turn causing Joy's Boy to gallop on Reckless Charm checking Ragtime Adrian and Crystal Hand and severely checking Joy's Boy and Reckless Charm .
Reckless Charm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left metacarpal and left triceps, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
