Kennels closed at 1:47 PM after trainer Gary Mannion communicated with Stewards that he rendered assistance to a motor vehicle accident en-route to the track. 

Four Keeps and Midnight Gieger were quick to begin. Midnight Swim and Full Of Rage were slow to begin.

Pandora's Glory and Figure Eight collided approaching the first turn. Full Of Rage brushed the running rail on the first turn. Figure Eight checked off Full Of Rage on the home turn. Pandora's Glory and Midnight Gieger collided on the home turn checking Midnight Gieger and Blue Cigar and severely checking Pandora's Glory which fell as a result. Four Keeps and Figure Eight collided approaching the winning post.

Due to a technical malfunction, the time for this event was initially semaphored as 22:67  however changed to 22:85. The Judge subsequently handtimed the event and confirmed the correct time as 22:68.

Figure Eight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr A Xerri representive regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Figure Eight was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr A Xerri pleaded guilty to the charge, Figure Eight must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pandora's Glory underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Lana Bale and Hope To Wyn were slow to begin. 

Marez Bale and Janiya Bale collided soon after the start checking Janiya Bale. Lana Bale and Foul Snooker collided in the home straight. Hadarah Bale and Hope To Wyn collided in the home straight.

Jonty Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left quadricep injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Rampe – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a front left toe injury.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Miss Rampe, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Bastian Bale and Rapid Revenue were slow to begin. 

Merriview Benny and Mitta Mitta collided on the first turn checking Merriview Benny. Had To Listen and Miss Rampe collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Rapid Revenue checked off Mitta Mitta approaching the home turn. Dezzy Driver and Merriview Benny collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking Merriview Benny. Bastian Bale failed to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the winning post, impeding Supasonic Saz.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Trewin, the representive of Bastian Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Bastian Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr D. Trewin pleaded guilty to the charge, Bastian Bale is suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Merriview Benny underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Rampe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bastian Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. Mr. D. Trewin declined to have the greyhound re-vetted. 

Nasty Rach was slow to begin.

Nasty Rach checked off Refueled entering the home straight checking Big Little Sis.

Fabulous Dan faulted soon after the start. Maidenpool checked off Big Holiday on the first turn. Big Holiday and Moraine Pippa collided approaching the home turn checking Moraine Pippa.

Fabulous Dan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a triangle muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Krisbar Immy was quick to begin. Kimimela was slow to begin.

Aztec Warrior and Miss Oreo Mac collided on the first turn checking Aztec Warrior, Miss Oreo Mac, Fidget Spinner and Cougar Icon. Midnight Patrol checked off Blazing Sword on the first turn. Cougar Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 12. Cougar Icon was found to have  a injury to the right quadricep. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler Mr J. Wickham, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Cogar Icon was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Wickham pleaded guilty to the charge, Cougar Icon must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Slew Left placed 2nd in a field of 4 beaten by 0.25L. Slew Left has been cleared to race.

Titanium Springs – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at the Ballarat for unsatifactory performance. Weighing 27.3kgs and beginning from box 1, Titanium Springs completed the 390m trial distance in a time of 22.59. Titanium Springs placed 1st in a field of 4 winning by 0.25. Titanium Springs has been cleared to race at all tracks.
