Rando Allen and Vroom Vroom collided soon after the start. Hungry Grub, Big Little Sis and Titanium Springs collided soon after the start. Rando Allen and Vroom Vroom collided approaching the first turn. Hungry Grub and Big Little Sis collided approaching the first turn checking Refueled. Ugo Girl, Rando Allen and Vroom Vroom collided on the first turn checking Rando Allen and Vroom Vroom, causing Rando Allen and Big Little Sis to collide, Big Little Sis lost ground as a result. Refueled and Vroom Vroom collided approaching the home turn. Titanium Springs and Big Cam collided several times in the home straight. Refueled and Vroom Vroom collided in the home straight. Titanium Springs underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain and a left quadriceps injury. A 7 stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr K Howat regarding the racing manners of Titanium Springs in the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Titanium Springs must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
