Club Official, Mr J.Loudon was issued a warning after the greyhound Pyrenees Knight was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration. 

Stewards noted the amber light failed to operate at the start of the race, the matter has been referred to the club and track managers.

Amoureuse checked off Oddjob Lad entering the back straight. Inga. Assalt and Tee Tee collided entering the back straight checking Tee Tee. Jed Bale and Our Airman collided entering the back straight. Weslyn Bale and Tee Tee collided in the back straight. Jed Bale checked off Our Airman in the back straight. Amoureuse and Weslyn Bale collided approaching the second turn. Our Airman clipped the heels of Oddjob Lad on the second turn checking Oddjob Lad which collided with  Amoureuse.  Oddjob Lad lost ground as a result. Inga. Assalt and Tee Tee collided approaching the home turn checking Inga. Assalt. Tee Tee and Our Airman collided in the home straight.

Pyrenees Steele was very slow to begin (3L).

Brave Hearted checked off Blue Cigar on the first turn. Dudoku Buddah and Moraine Pippa collided approaching the home turn. Fake It checked off Moraine Pippa approaching the home turn. White Arandt and Fake It collided entering the home straight. Blue Cigar checked off Brave Hearted entering the home straight. Fake It and Pyrenees Steele collided several times in the home straight. Moraine Pippa and Brave Hearted raced wide in the home straight.

Rando Allen and Vroom Vroom collided soon after the start. Hungry Grub, Big Little Sis and Titanium Springs collided soon after the start. Rando Allen and Vroom Vroom collided approaching the first turn. Hungry Grub and Big Little Sis collided approaching the first turn checking Refueled. Ugo Girl, Rando Allen and Vroom Vroom collided on the first turn checking Rando Allen and Vroom Vroom, causing Rando Allen and Big Little Sis to collide, Big Little Sis lost ground as a result. Refueled and Vroom Vroom collided approaching the home turn. Titanium Springs and Big Cam collided several times in the home straight. Refueled and Vroom Vroom collided in the home straight. Big Little Sis checked off Refueled in the home straight.

Titanium Springs underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain and a left quadriceps injury. A 7 stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr K Howat regarding the racing manners of Titanium Springs in the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Titanium Springs must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big Holiday, Unity Allen and Nessie Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Unity Allen. Big Holiday and Nessie Bale collided in the home straight. Loroupe was quick to begin. Aston Klara was slow to begin.

Stevie Gee went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Joraddi and Crackerjack Cash collided approaching the first turn checking Joraddi. Crackerjack Cash and Aston Klara collided on the first turn. Game Spirit raced wide approaching the home turn.

Inga Ross and Zanzeedoo collided in the back straight and again approaching the second turn. Frankie Moss and Muzzle Welsh collided on the second turn. Lil Miss Earner checked off Cleansing Ale on the home turn and raced wide. Cleansing Ale tired over the concluding stages. 

A post-race sample was taken from Kintamani - the winner of the event.

Cleansing Ale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a abrasion to the left hock. A 3 stand down period was imposed.

Nasty Rach and Pandora's Devil were slow to begin. 

Star Ghost and All Inn Handles collided soon after the start. All Inn Handles and Don's Noisey collided approaching the first turn. Don's Noisey checked off All Inn Handles approaching the first turn and collided with  Pandora's Devil;  Don's Noisey lost ground as a result. All Inn Handles checked off Don's Trouble approaching the home turn. Pandora's Devil and All Inn Handles collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.

Zipping Gold was slow to begin.

Black Tess and Fab Creates collided soon after the start checking Miss Dangerwood. Kurri Kurri, Monoak and Miss Dangerwood collided approaching the first turn checking Kurri Kurri and Monoak. Miss Dangerwood and Knocker's Gold collided approaching the home turn checking Knocker's Gold. Miss Dangerwood clipped the heels of Zipping Cisco on the home turn checking Knocker's Gold. Zipping Cisco checked off Blazing Sword on the home turn. Black Tess and Fab Creates collided approaching the winning post.

Quen Bale, Mini Sticka and Tuiaki Dora collided soon after the start. Call Me Bubbles and Quen Bale collided approaching the first turn. Tuiaki Dora, Akut and Savannah Icon collided approaching the first turn checking Akut. Savannah Icon checked off Zenstar on the first turn. Mini Sticka checked off Pillar Creek on the first turn. Tuiaki Dora and Pillar Creek collided approaching the home turn checking Pillar Creek, Tuiaki Dora and Mini Sticka. Savannah Icon galloped on the heels of Akut entering the home straight.

Spirit Bar and Neb's Horse was quick to begin.

Urban Ruler and Steve's Uggboot collided soon after the start checking Urban Ruler. Steve's Uggboot and Spring Kitty collided approaching the first turn. Tiggerlong Ray and Rapid Rock collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Rapana checked off Spring Kitty approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground. Neb's Horse and Steve's Uggboot collided on the home turn.

Rapana underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and a right hip injury. A 14 stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trials:

Miss Travers  – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at the Ballarat  meeting on 1st April 2019 for Marring. Weighing 27.3kgs and beginning from box 1, Miss Travers completed the 450m trial distance in a time of 25.54. Miss Travers placed 3rd in a field of 4 of starters beaten by 8L. Miss Travers has been cleared to race at all tracks.
