Steward's Report
Punt Road Girl was quick to begin. Why Not Dean went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin, 3 lengths. Mia Amour, Fairytale Ending and Punt Road Girl collided on the first turn checking Fairytale Ending, Punt Road Girl and Lorella. Punt Road Girl, Mia Amour and Lorella collided several times in the home straight checking Mia Amour.
Lorella underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg dew claw dislocation. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Radstock, the Trainer of Punt Road Girl regarding the manner in which Punt Road Girl raced in the home straight. After viewing both the official patrol and head-on footage of the event, Stewards were satisfied that Punt Road Girl had no charge to answer.
