Steward's Report
An out-of-competition sample was taken from Young Rachel on 2 April, 2019.
A pre-race sample was taken from Golden Fernanda.
Speed Alert was slow to begin. Young Rachel was very slow to begin, 2 lengths. French Defence and Paid Too Much collided soon after the start checking Paid Too Much. Sassy Slyder and Miss Cogenial collided on the first turn checking Miss Congenial which tailed off as a result. Speed Alert raced wide on the home turn. Golden Fernanda checked off French Defence entering the home straight.
Miss Congenial underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a back muscle injury. A 60 stand down period was imposed.
