The start of this race was delayed approximately 2 minutes due to Queanbeyan Thoroughbreds running behind schedule.
Bassamos was quick to begin. Nasty Rach, Bits And Pieces and Oriental Gracie were slow to begin.
Merriview Benny, Oriental Ollie, Nasty Rach and Oriental Gracie collided on the first turn checking Merriview Benny and Oriental Ollie, severly checking Nasty Rach and Oriental Gracie. Fonzarelli checked off Bassamos on the home turn.
