Roger's Boy – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a right wrist injury.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Queen.

Miss Spolly was quick to begin. Dezzy Driver, Smart Zero and Roger's Boy were slow to begin.

Lucknow Magic, Tonking Home and Mister Mercury collided soon after the start. Mister Mercury and Miss Spolly collided approaching the first turn. Lucknow Magic checked off Tonking Home approaching the first turn. Tonking Home, Mister Mercury, Miss Spolly and Smart Zero collided on the first turn checking Tonking Home, Mister Mercury, Miss Spolly, Smart Zero, Roger's Boy, Lucknow Magic and Dezzy Driver, Lucknow Magic and Dezzy Driver raced wide as a result. Dezzy Driver and Roger's Boy collided entering the home staright. Mister Mercury and Smart Zero collided in the home straight. Roger's Boy faltered and lost ground in the home straight. 

Roger's Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist and right triangle, soreness to the right shin and abrasions. A 21 stand down period was imposed.

Forest Lodge was quick to begin. Patient Panda was slow to begin.

Saw Blaze and Horus Blue collided soon after the start. Yuken Win, Horus Blue, Saw Blaze and Sweet Gabrialla collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds, Saw Blaze stumbled as a result. Forest Lodge and Rik Lee collided approaching the second turn. Forest Lodge and Horus Blue collided on the third turn. 

Salut Bianca and Our Centurion were slow to begin.

On Degoey and Aston Kenji collided soon after the start. Aston Truffle, On Degoey and Aston Kenji collided approaching the first turn. Aston Kenji and Our Centrurion collided on the first turn checking Our Centurion. Salut Bianca checked off On Degoey approaching the home turn.

Taking Off and Sabakat were slow to begin.

Bluwy and Terrah Round collided soon after the start. Taking Off crossed to the outside approaching the first turn. Bluwy clipped the heels of Terrah Round on the first turn checking Terrah Round. Navy Storm checked off House Of Luck on the home turn. Bluwy and Terrah Round collided on the home turn. 

Black Beauty was quick to begin. Miss Zok Dee and Stylish Missile were slow to begin.

Hedonistic and Black Beauty collided soon after the start. Hedonistic checked off Miss Zok Dee on the first turn. Cumberland Jet and Miss Zok Dee collided on the first turn checking Miss Zok Dee. Impending and Sticka Fantasy collided approaching the second turn. Stylish Missile and Miss Zok Dee raced wide in the back straight. Cumberland Jet lost ground over the concluding stages of the event. 

Cumberland Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was then re-examined following race 8. Cumberland Jet was found to have a right hind sartorius injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Trevor Whitford, the Trainer of Cumberland Jet regarding the performance of the greyhound. Mr Whitford stated that he was trying the greyhound over a longer distance and believed after today's run it would be better suited to a shorter distance in future.

Popowski was quick to begin. Destini Jaguar, Blue Alcatraz and Where's Lachie were slow to begin.

Where's Lachie clipped the heels of Boycey Road soon after the start causing Where's Lachie to stumble. Blue Alcatraz and Where's Lachie collided approaching the first turn.

Destini Exactor was quick to begin. Rosta Power and Percy's Curse were slow to begin.

Gold Odessa and Tuiaki Dora collided approaching the first turn checking Tuiaki Dora. Zipping Brandy and Tuiaki Dora collided on the first turn. Percy's Curse, Destini Exactor and Rosta Power collided entering the home straight checking Destini Exactor.

Stewards noted that Trademark Rocky competed at the Longwood coursing on 19.0519 and was ineligible to compete in this event. 

Charlie Haze was quick to begin. Marko Bale and Rodeo were slow to begin.

Rodeo raced wide on the first turn.

Mighty Josiah – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a seasonal spell.

Just Faith and Trixie's Rocket were quick to begin. 

Buddie's Al and Mighty Josiah collided several times from soon after the start to the first turn. Buddie's Al raced wide on the first turn checking Mighty Josiah and I'm Livin' It and severely checking Bluey Can Fly. Lucky Gypsy checked off I'm Livin' It approaching the home turn. Woodleigh Sal galloped on Trixie's Rocket in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Fairytale Ending was slow to begin. Banjo Sally checked off Dargo Dasher on the first turn. Zambora Cash, Another Nalin and Beluga Diamond collided on the first turn checking Another Nalin.

Black Bindi – Late scratching at 8:21am when Trainer Ms. C. Busuttil reported the greyhound to have diarrohoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Mini Dozer.

Madam Kinloch and Carson County were slow to begin.

Madam Kinloch checked off Mr. Pendles on the first turn. Surgical Wally and Mr. Pendles collided on the home turn checking Surgical Wally, Mr. Pendles and Carson County. Mini Dozer and Mr. Pendles collided entering the home straight checking Peaked and severely checking Mr. Pendles and Carson County, both greyhounds stumbled and lost ground as a result. 

Surgical Wally underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right stopper injury. A 7 stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. McMillan, the Trainer of Surgical Wally and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.

Oriental Tarl and Little Bala were slow to begin.

Little Bala checked off Joyce's Choice soon after the start. Farfalla Nera and Fiesty Ivy soon after the start checking Farfalla Nera. Meehan Phil and Fiesty Ivy collided on the first turn checking Fiesty Ivy. Farfalla Nera, Oriental Tarj and Little Bala collided on the first turn checking Oriental Tarj and Little Bala. Oriental Tarj and Little Bala collided on the home turn. 

Meeting Comments:

Double Gee was presented for a re-vet assessment and was passed fit to race.

Satisfactory Trials:

The following greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over 311m with two greyhounds required to trial in a field of four. The winning time of trial was 17.83:

Inter Lana finished 2nd, Zipping Dion finished 1st, Almapa Berisha finished 3rd, Honours finished 4th and So Apparent finished 5th.

Inter Lana – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Weighing 30.2 and beginning from box 1, beaten by 4.75 lengths. Inter Lana has been cleared to race at all tracksl except Warragul.

Zipping Dion – Was stood down from racing at The Meadows for marring. Weighing 30.4 and beginning from box 3, winning by 4.75 lengths. Zipping Dion has been cleared to race at all tracks except The Meadows.

Almapa Berisha - – Was stood down from racing at Lang Lang coursing for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment, connections also wish to apply blinkers to the greyhound. Weighing 30.5 and beginning from box 4, beaten 6 lengths. Almapa Berisha has been cleared to race in blinkers at all tracks except coursing.
