Steward's Report
Walk Woody Walk and Fairy Vixen collided approaching the first turn. Jesse's Typhoon and Tuiaki Dora collided approaching the first turn checking Tuiaki Dora. Tuiaki Dora, Adonis Rose and Fairy Vixen collided on the first turn checking Adonis Rose and Walk Woody Walk. Jessie's Typhoon lost ground from approaching the home turn to the winning post. Adonis Rose marred Walk Woody Walk approaching the winning post.
Jesse's Typhoon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left deltoid muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Adonis Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Chignell the trainer of Adonis Rose regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Adonis Rose with marring. Mrs. Chignell pleaded guilty to the charge, Adonis Rose was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
