Flywheel Strike was slow to begin. Disco Lemonade, Golden Romance and Billy Moran collided on the first turn checking Billy Moran and Disco Lemonade. Billy Moran was checked off Golden Romance approaching the home turn. Heard It Before, Dr. Summer and Premier Jess collided approaching the home turn severely checking Premier Jess. Disco Lemonade and Flywheel Strike collided on the home turn. Heard It Before was checked off Billy Moran on the home turn. Premier Jess was checked off Flywheel Strike in the home straight. Heard It Before raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Disco Lemonade was vetted following the event after an incident in the catching pen. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
