Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Kuzma.
Lucknow Magic, Hello Goodnight and Prince Ferno were quick to begin. Two Anns was slow to begin. Lucknow Magic, Hello Goodnight and Underworld Rama collided approaching the first turn. Red Beryl and Prince Ferno collided on the first turn checking Prince Ferno causing Akina Blaze to gallop on Prince Ferno checking both greyhounds. Kuzma galloped on Two Anns on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Lucknow Magic and Underworld Rama collided approaching the home turn checking Lucknow Magic and Hello Goodnight. Prince Ferno was checked off Red Beryl approaching the home turn. Kuzma was checked off Lucknow Magic approaching the home turn. Kuzma marred Lucknow Magic in the home straight checking Kuzma and severely checking Lucknow Magic which stumbled and lost ground.
Lucknow Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Two Anns was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Ashworth the representative for Kuzma regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Kuzma with marring. Mr. Ashworth pleaded guilty to the charge, Kuzma was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
