Acer and On Degoey collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Only Wish, No Problem John and Muza's Magic collided on the first turn checking Only Wish; Acer, No Problem John and Muza's Magic collided as a result checking Only Wish.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Navy.

Miss Inquisitive stumbled at box rise and lost considerable ground.  My Raphael, Zipping Navy and Vineyard collided soon after the start.  Vineyard crossed to the rail on the first turn checking My Girl Chezza and Zipping Navy.  Miss Inquisitive was checked off My Raphael on the home turn.

Blueflash Lenny was slow to begin.  Spectator was checked off Superstar Jessie approaching the first turn.  Is All, Hurricane Craig and Bye Bye Brad collided on the first turn checking Is All.   Superstar Jessie and Blueflash Lenny collided approaching the home turn checking Superstar Jessie.  Superstar Jessie crossed to the rail entering the home straight severely checking Bye Bye Brad.  Smoke And Embers and Blueflash Lenny collided in the home straight.

Ragged Warrior, Hurricane Billie and Ann Cherie were slow to begin.  Cheeky Shadow and Hello Cobber collided approaching the first turn checking Cheeky Shadow.  Hello Cobber was checked off Sharpo on the first turn.  Cheeky Shadow and Ann Cherie collided on the first turn.  Hello Cobber raced wide in the home straight.

Cheeky Shadow was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triangle muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Inter Joe.

El Burrito and Shooters Ali were slow to begin.  Mokhtar, Bowie Boy, Inter Joe and Bags Of Bucks collided soon after the start checking Inter Joe.  El Burrito, Shooters Ali and Inter Joe collided approaching the first turn.  Mokhtar, Bags Of Bucks and Spotlight collided approaching the home turn checking Spotlight and Inter Joe.  El Burrito galloped on Bowie Boy in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Clarke the trainer of Johnny Black regarding the amount of time the greyhound has had between races.  Johnny Black last raced on 30/10/18.  Mr. Clarke stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a back muscle injury.  Mr. Clarke declared a new weight of 36.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Johnny Black last raced at 34.2kg.

Row Tay Tom was slow to begin.  Johnny Black and Mr. Pendles collided approaching the first turn checking Mr. Pendles.  John's Choice, Primrose Diamond and Mega McKayla collided approaching the first turn.  Johnny Black and Rurik collided approaching the first turn.  Rurik lost ground on the first turn.  John's Choice and Primrose Diamond collided on the first turn  checking Primrose Diamond.  Rurik and Mega McKayla collided in the home straight.

Rurik was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Midnight Muscat was slow to begin.  She's Got Dash and Thumb A Ride collided on the first turn checking She's Got Dash.  Gone Early and Iona Misty collided on the first turn.  Gone Early and Hardy's Banjo collided on the home turn.

Disco Lemonade and Baggy's Request were quick to begin.  Temujin and Lanis Morris collided approaching the first turn.  Super Serena and Keen Gem collided on the home turn.  Disco Lemonade and Baggy's Request collided several times on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Temujin and Dyna Reaver collided approaching the winning post.

Chopping Spuds was quick to begin.  Maderra and Brindle Ninja collided on the first turn checking Brindle Ninja and Seeka Moment.  Chopping Spuds and Ryder Sir collided on the home turn checking Chopping Spuds, Chopping Spuds and Gunmetal Liam collided as a result.

Premier Jess, Architecture and Agent Voilet collided approaching the first turn checking Architecture and Violets Are Red.

Mr. J. Abela the trainer of Arashundi declared a new weight of 36.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Arashundi last raced at 34.7kg.

Mega Hazel and Mac Daddy collided approaching the first turn checking Mega Hazel.  Aston Jewel, Arashundi and Apila Cash collided on the first turn checking Aston Jewel and Arashundi and causing Apila Cash to fall.  Mega Hazel was checked off Mac Daddy in the home straight.

Apila Cash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Dewana Interest was a late scratching at 3.06pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
