Slingshot Maxi was slow to begin. Back Ya Self and Atlas Shiralee collided soon after the start checking Atlas Shiralee. Back Ya Self, Orleans and Liscoyle Lass collided approaching the first turn checking Liscoyle Lass and Orleans. Nut And Bolt galloped on the heels of Slingshot Maxi approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Back Ya Self and Rajasthan collided on the first turn.
Slingshot Maxi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind toe injury and a right triangle injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
Nut And Bolt was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
