Yenderra Bazza, Roman Girl and Sylo were slow to begin. Walk With Yessam and Golden Moon collided soon after the start checking Walk With Yessam. Roman Girl faltered on the first turn and lost ground.

Roman Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hock injury. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr. D. Basile of greyhound, Roman Girl regarding the greyhounds performance. Mr Basile stated that the greyhound had trialled well last week at Bendigo and today's performance was due to the greyhounds injury that it received during the running of the event. Acting on their own observations, viewing all available footage and Mr. Basile's explanation Stewards took no further action.

Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Zeinert, the trainer of Plenty Of It regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Plenty Of It last raced on 27th August 2018. Mr. Zeinert stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal. Mr. Zeinert, also declared a new weight of 26.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Plenty Of It last raced at 24.5kg.

Hook Along Fyler and Nana Denise were slow to begin. Plenty Of It and Miss White Wash collided soon after the start checking Miss White Wash which stumbled as a result. Plenty Of It, Hook Along Fyler and Nana Denise collided on the first turn checking Plenty Of It. Hook Along Fyler and Nana Denise collided approaching the home turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.

Wicked Reason and All Inn Tyler were slow to begin. Hollywood Donuts and Tekidanto collided soon after the start checking Tekidanto. Wicked Reason checked off Hollywood Donuts approaching the first turn. Soda Witch and Midnight Act collided on the first turn checking Midnight Act and Mr. Vinnie, causing Mr. Vinnie to fall as a result.

Midnight Act was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right radius/ulna and a right elbow injury and was humanely euthanased.

Twilight Shae was slow to begin. Pick Up Line contacted the running rail on the first turn. Wild Bandit and Swahili Icon collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn.

Mustang Bay, Dubai Prince and Just Like Didda were slow to begin. Mustang Bay, Dubai Prince and Tat Loxy collided soon after the start checking Dubai Prince. Glass Half Full checked off Kabo's Winlock on the first turn checking Tat Loxy, See Ya Mate and Just Like Didda causing Just Like Didda to race wide. See Ya Mate checked off Tat Loxy on the home turn.

See Ya Mate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left back toe and split webbing. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Tampico and Moyarra Fantasy collided soon after the start checking Moyarra Fantasy. Tampico and Hammer Red collided approaching the first turn checking Hammer Red. Tampico and Alcantara collided on the first turn. Hammer Red, Manitoba and Moyarra Fantasy collided on the first turn. Total Mayhem and Alcantara collided entering the home straight. Aston Talks raced wide in the home straight. Moyarra Fantasy and Hammer Red collided approaching the winning post.

Slingshot Maxi was slow to begin. Back Ya Self and Atlas Shiralee collided soon after the start checking Atlas Shiralee. Back Ya Self, Orleans and Liscoyle Lass collided approaching the first turn checking Liscoyle Lass and Orleans. Nut And Bolt galloped on the heels of Slingshot Maxi approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Back Ya Self and Rajasthan collided on the first turn.

Slingshot Maxi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind toe injury and a right triangle injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Nut And Bolt was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Waycott, the representative of Nalani regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Nalani last raced on 27th August 2018. Mr. Waycott stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.

Hardaway Winnie, All Inn Handles and Kehestto were slow to begin. Hardaway Winnie and Chook Richards collided soon after the start checking Chook Richards. Kraken Maxi, Nalani and All Inn Handles collided on the first turn severely checking Nalani and All Inn Handles causing Nalani to fall. Saucy Sav raced wide on the home turn.

Nalani was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor left hind paw injury. No stand down period was imposed.

All Inn Handles was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Saucy Sav was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right flexor tendon injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Tat Ox, Mia Amour and Bob's Hammer were slow to begin. Why Not Dean and Horey's Prince collided approaching the first turn checking Why Not Dean. Mia Amour, Anna Victorem and Bob's Hammer collided on the first turn checking Mia Amour and severely checking Anna Victorem which tailed off as a result. Why Not Dean and Bob's Hammer collided approaching the home turn. Mia Amour and Bob's Hammer collided entering the home straight.

Anna Victorem was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right flexor tendon injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Anna Victorem with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. D. Basile pleaded guilty to the charge, Anna Victorem was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Leica Cali King was quick to begin. Zipping Stan and Ruby Gas collided approaching the first turn. Little Red Hot, Wolf Point and You Aussie collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Stan, Ruby Gas and Aston Jagger collided on the first turn severely checking Ruby Gas. Ruby Gas, Little Red Hot and You Aussie collided on the first turn severely checking Little Red Hot and You Aussie and causing Ruby Gas to fall. Little Red Hot and You Aussie collided approaching the winning post.

Ruby Gas was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right flexor tendon injury and injuries to the left hind and right fore webbing and left hock. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Little Red Hot was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

You Aussie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr G.Glass, the handler of Cruzin' regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cruzin' last raced on 27 September, 2018. Mr Glass stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of kennels. 

Mr. G. Robinson, trainer of Miss Bea declared a new weight of 31.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Miss Bea last raced at 29.2kg.

Mask and miss Bea were slow to begin. Amy Amour and Proven Les collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Miss Bea crossed to the inside on the first turn checking Red Lagoon, All Inn Youi and Proven Les. Mask and Amy Amour collided on the home turn.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Double Tax trialled over the 390mt from box 8, weight 34.5kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 21.85, the greyhound won by a margin of 7L. Double Tax was cleared.
