Cosmic Breeze was vetted following an incident in the catching pen.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle and left triangle injuries, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Staitline Willy was slow to begin.

Temujin, Python Pride and Galloping Leo collided soon after the start checking Temujin and Python Pride.  Dr. Paulina checked off Keen Gem on the first turn.  Walkin' The Walk, Galloping Leo, Dr. Paulina and Keen Gem collided on the first turn severely checking Walkin' The Walk checking Python Pride, Galloping Leo and Staitline Willy.  Temujin checked off Walkin' The Walk approaching the home turn.  Dr. Paulina and Straitline Willy collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Fourth Dimention and Keen Gem collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mrs G. Saunders the handler of Python Pride regarding her boxing of her greyhound. Stewards accepted Mrs Saunders's explanation and took no further action.
