Steward's Report
Sole Elusion and Volcanic Winter were slow to begin.
Aston Veloci and Miss Luna Girl collided soon after the start. Harper's Hand and Miss Luna Girl collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds and Sole Elusion was checked as a result. Volcanic Winter checked off Water Pistol on the first turn. Aston Veloci and Aston Halle collided entering the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Emma Lakers - the winner of the event
Miss Luna Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left thigh and bruising to the left posterior metacarpal, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
