Steward's Report
Empress Rose and In Orbit were quick to begin.
Marko Bale and Soda Flakes were slow to begin.
Empress Rose, Sandave Rayne and In Orbit collided on the first turn checking Empress Rose and severely checking In Orbit. Empty Chamber checked off Master Rico on the first turn. Leopardstown and Master Rico collided approaching the winning post.
A post-race sample was taken from Soda Flakes - the winner of the event.
In Orbit was vetted and after being re-vetted following Race 10, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain and an injured left triangle muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards issued a warning to Mr G. Brown, the trainer of In Orbit regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
