Steward's Report
Irish Down Under went up with the lids at box rise and lost ground as a result. Tennessee Gal was slow to begin. Boy Dexter and Miss Missile collided at the 250 metre mark checking Boy Dexter which tailed off as a result.
Boy Dexter was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right quadriceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Jarkis, the trainer of the greyhound Boy Dexter. Stewards deemed the performance of Boy Dexter unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Boy Dexter must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
