Poppy Mick and Make Me Famous collided on the first turn severely checking Poppy Mick and My Girl Dolce. Make Me Famous and Venom's Lad collided approaching the home turn checking Make Me Famous.

Punk Pirate and Nathaniel Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Big Kat and Deadly Asset. Reen's Fabian was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained  injuries to the left tricep and both quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Leah Belena and Our Spirit collided soon after the start. Uncle Sheriff and Razzling collided soon after the start. Razzling crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Uncle Sheriff, Flyin' Finley and Minnie Surf. Our Spirit and Uncle Sheriff collided approaching the first turn checking Our Spirit. Xavier Thomas, Minnie Surf and Flyin' Finley collided on the first turn checking Minnie Surf and Flyin' Finley. Xavier Thomas raced wide on the home turn. Uncle Sheriff checked off the heels of Flyin' Finley near the winning post.

Wyndham Stranger, Got It All and Claretown Bart were slow to begin.

Lektra Hearn and Riverside Louie collided soon after the start checking Riverside Louie. Ballistic Fire and Riverside Louie collided approaching the first turn. Claretown Bart checked off Spring Amanda on the first turn severely checking Wyndham Stranger which stumbled and lost ground as a result. Cobalt Mist checked off Got It All approaching the home turn. Spring Amanda and Lektra Hearn raced wide in the home straight. Got It All and Cobalt Mist collided in the home straight.

Wyndham Stranger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right thigh, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

 Radinka Bale and Magic Diva were quick to begin.

Red Sally checked off Mermaid Princess soon after the start. Hekate Belle, High Summer, Mahogany Diamond and Mermaid Princess collided approaching the first turn. High Summer, Mahogany Diamond, Mermaid Princess and Veloso collided on the first turn checking High Summer and Mahogany Diamond. High Summer and Mahogany Diamond collided approaching the home turn. Veloso and Mermaid Princess collided approaching the home turn.

 A sample was taken form Magic Diva the winner of the event, which returned a track record of 24.963s.

Maximum Lil and High Light Star collided soon after the start. Maximum Lil, High Light Star and Rinoa Bale collided approaching the first turn checking High Light Star and Rinoa Bale. Maximum Lil checked off El Soprano on the first turn. Sienna's Dream and High Light Star collided entering the home straight causing Sienna's Dream, El Soprano and Rinoa Bale to collide, resulting in Rinoa Bale racing wide. Unix Bale and You Say Goodbye collided approaching the winning post.

El Soprano was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the left foot, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Go Jetta Go went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (4L).

Dyna Dieter checked off Regal Sound soon after the start. Incumbent and Young Hawke collided soon after the start. Chief Tyson, Regal Sound and Hala Belle collided on the first turn. Young Hawke and Regal Sound collided in the back straight. Go Jetta Go checked off the heels of Illicit Twist in the back straight. Young Hawke raced wide entering the home straight.

Go Jetta Go was vetted follwowing the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Subsequent to the all clear being given, Trainer Jason Thompson (Go Jetta Go) expressed his concern with the start of the race, as in his opinion  he believed that Go Jetta Go was denied a fair start. After viewing the film with Mr Thompson and acting on their own observations Stewards remained satisfied with the start of the event.

Elite Diva was quick to begin.

Mick's Lady and Blue Lavros collided soon after the start. Maggie's Revenge and Bit Chili Billie collided soon after the start. Mick's Lady checked off Maggie's Revenge on the first turn. Mick's Lady and Blue Lavros collided approaching the home turn checking Mick's Lady. Serash Bale and Mick's Lady collided aproaching the home turn checking Mick's Lady.

Tick Bale, Allen Gizmo and Spa Jangles collided soon after the start. Shaw Street Race and So Confused collided approaching the first turn checking Shaw Street Race. Both  Allen Gizmo and Special Jim raced wide in the home straight.

Upset Boy was a late scratching at 16.07 due to injury. (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Belena Jake was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triceps and quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Express Ticket was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triceps a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Elite Devil and Wrong Impression collided several times approaching the first turn. Humphrey Bale and Wrong Impression collided approaching the first turn. Scintillating crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Lunar Tom, Lektra Candy, Benedict Geoff, Elite Devil, Humphrey Bale and Mahogany Boy. Mahogany Boy checked off Humphrey Bale approaching the home turn. Wrong Impression crossed to the outside on the home turn checking Elite Devil and Humphrey Bale.

Dyna Irvine was quick to begin.

High Commando and He's Buzzin' collided soon after the start. He's Buzzin faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off. Santa's Serena, Lektra Lethal and Lektra Elite collided on the first turn. General Ledger checked off Wait Til Dark on the first turn. Lektra Lethal and Santa's Serena collided approaching the home turn.

He's Buzzin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that greyhound sustained injured triceps, quadriceps and a spike wound, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Re-Vetted Greyhound - Thriller Love was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was not cleared to race.

Satisfactory Weight Trial Results- Blue Vapouriser trialled over  390 mtrs., from box 1, weight 33.7kg, The greyhound was placed second in a field of 3. The time of the trial was 22.33, The greyhound was beaten by 2 lengths. Blue Vapouriser was cleared.
