Midori Halo was slow to begin. Sing For Me, Sanzman and Arvo's Wiseguy collided soon after the start checking Sanzman and Arvo's Wiseguy. Big Jake and Midori Halo collided approaching the first turn. Special Bomb and Midori Halo collided approching the first turn checking Special Bomb. Classic Nitro and Sanzman collided on the first turn checking Sanzman. Classic Nitro clipped the heels of Special Bomb approaching the home turn. Sing For Me was checked off Big Jake approaching the home turn. Big Jake was checked off Midori Halo approaching the home turn checking Midori Halo, Sing For Me, Classic Nitro and Arvo's Wiseguy and severely checking Big Jake which lost considerable ground as a result. Special Bomb and Midori Halo collided several times in the home straight.
Big Jake was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
