Night Keeper, Blue Ranger and Sierra's Boy were slow to begin.  Tabouli and Go Lovely collided several times from soon after the start to approaching the first turn.  Central Road and McNutso collided approaching the first turn.  Tabouli, Blue Ranger and Go Lovely collided approaching the first turn.  Blue Ranger crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Central Road, Sierra's Boy and Go Lovely.  Blue Ranger, Sierra's Boy and Night Keeper collided on the first turn checking Blue Ranger.  Night Keeper and Sierra's Boy collided on the first turn severely checking Sierra's Boy which stumbled subsequently checking Blue Ranger and Go Lovely.  Sierra's Boy, Blue Ranger and Go Lovely collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds.

Dungarvan was a late scratching at 5.47pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Wild Last Stress, Wild West Stress, High Ped and Eyeful Of Bling were slow to begin.  Wild West Stress and Arvo's Euro collided approaching the first turn.  Evelisa and Soaring Angel collided approaching the first turn.  Wild West Stress and Arvo's Euro collided approaching the first turn checking Wild West Stress, High Ped and Arvo's Euro.  Evelisa and Arvo's Euro collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  High Ped galloped on Wild West Stress on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Arvo's Euro was checked off Evelisa approaching the home turn.

Little Gypsy was a late scratching at 6.11pm by order of Stewards.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Carr the trainer of Little Gypsy and charged him Pursuant to GAR 31(1) in that he presented the incorrect greyhound at kennelling.  In assessing penalty Stewards took into account  Mr. Carr's previous history in relation to this offence.   Mr. Carr subsequently pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $300.

Why Not Gold and Arvo's Maya were slow to begin.  Peregrin Stealth, Ruthless Girl, Prince Nitro and Last Boy Scout collided soon after the start checking Ruthless Girl and Prince Nitro.  Prince Nitro was checked off Rinash on the first turn checking Last Boy Scout and causing Prince Nitro to galloped on Last Boy Scout subsequently checking Ruthless Girl.  Ruthless Girl and Why Not Gold collided approaching the home turn and again approaching the winning post.

The Club's Veterinary Surgeon examined Chad's Nitro and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 5.58pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. L. Harris was fined the sum of $100.

Razldazl Apollo and She Gone collided approaching the first turn.  Razldazl Apollo, She Gone and Jakki Ripper collided on the first turn checking Jakki Ripper and severely checking Razldazl Apollo and She Gone.  She Gone and Jakki Ripper collided approaching the home turn.

Arcadia Gold and Charlie Spitz were quick to begin.  Flaming Talent and Kruzin' Brute were slow to begin.  Flaming Talent and Boston Silver collided soon after the start.  Olliemax and Charlotte Belle collided on the first turn checking Charlotte Belle.  Flaming Talent and Kruzin' Brute collided on the home turn checking Flaming Talent.

Midori Halo was slow to begin.  Sing For Me, Sanzman and Arvo's Wiseguy collided soon after the start checking Sanzman and Arvo's Wiseguy.  Big Jake and Midori Halo collided approaching the first turn.  Special Bomb and Midori Halo collided approching the first turn checking Special Bomb.  Classic Nitro and Sanzman collided on the first turn checking Sanzman.  Classic Nitro clipped the heels of Special Bomb approaching the home turn.  Sing For Me was checked off Big Jake approaching the home turn.  Big Jake was checked off Midori Halo approaching the home turn checking Midori Halo, Sing For Me, Classic Nitro and Arvo's Wiseguy and severely checking Big Jake which lost considerable ground as a result.  Special Bomb and Midori Halo collided several times in the home straight.

Big Jake was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Let's Say Hello and Pollos Hermanos were slow to begin.  Let's Say Hello, Parumba Oh Jay and Denzel collided soon after the start causing Parumba Oh Jay to fall.  Bar No Comment, Denzel, Alpha Leva Keato and Retro collided approaching the first turn checking Bar No Comment which contacted the running rail severely checking Alpha Leva Keato.  Let's Say Hello and Alpha Leva Keato collided approaching the first turn.  Bar No Comment and Alpha Leva Keato collided approaching the first turn.  Billy Brae and Pollos Hermanos collided approaching the home turn checking Pollos Hermanos.  Bar No Comment and Alpha Leva Keato collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Parumba Oh Jay was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left chest muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
