A pre race sample was taken from Spring Ace.
Fess Crockett and Monaro Joe were quick to begin.
Fabulous Gee, Fawn Pursuit and Crainy's Wish collided soon after the start checking Crainy's Wish and Fawn Pursuit. Fawn Pursuit and Fabulous Gee collided on the first turn. Dashing Dino galloped on the heels of Crainy's Wish on the first turn checking Crainy's Wish.
Crainy's Wish was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind spike wound injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
