Zafonic Trevor and Refueled collided approaching the first turn. Refueled, Zafonic Trevor, Banyuatis and New Sense collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Janray Wild One crossed wide on the home turn and collided with Big Cam. La Coconut and Big Cam collided entering the home straight. Soho Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right scapula fracture, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Kimura and Big Tilly were slow to begin.

Kimura and Big Tilly collided soon after the start. Dynamic Ross, Carley Bobby, Almendra and Boston Quay collided approaching the first turn checking Dynamic Ross, Almendra and Carley Bobby. Big Kenny Bobo, Jiggy's Luck and Gone Rusty collided soon after the start checking Jiggy's Luck. Gone Rusty lost ground approaching the first turn and tailed off. Jiggy's Luck checked off Eden Lass on the first turn. Jiggy's Luck raced wide on the turn. Eden Lass, Lilty Allen and Pop Do It collided approaching the home turn checking Pop Do It.

Gone Rusty was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.  

Cloud Cover checked off Patchie Thief on the first turn. Darren Allen, Architecture and Cloud Cover collided approaching the home turn checking Architecture.

Anna Victorem, Cleary Allen and Agent Que were slow to begin. Chapta Lee was quick to begin.

Stewards queried the bona fides of the greyhound Mini Fernando after it was noted that the greyhound changed owner and trainer on 3 December 2018 from Jason Sharp to Ashley Craven. A public announcement was made to this affect as some form guides and betting agencies were still displaying Jason Sharp as the trainer. After taking evidence from both parties, Stewards were satisified with the explanations tendered.

Belena Bold and Raloo Barbara were slow to begin.

Mini Fernando checked off Whatta Lady on the first turn checking Gojek, Disco Lemonade, Raloo Barbara and Belena Bold.

Stewards spoke to Mr A Sacco, the trainer of Ginza Lion regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Ginza Lion last raced on 13th August 2018. Mr Sacco stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a right hock injury. A pre race sample was taken from Ginza Lion.

Zenstar was quick to begin. 

Ohio Fernando, Gin Lee's Bullet and Ginza Lion collided soon after the start checking Ohio Fernando and Gin Lee's Bullet. Miss Crazy and Ginza Lion approaching the home turn checking Ginza Lion. Ginza Lion, Gin Lee's Bullet and Bowon Approach collided on the home turn checking Ginza Lion and Gin Lee's Bullet.

Sunningdale was vetted at the trainer's request following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Mayhem Storm trialled over the 400m from box 8, weight 32.2kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 23.28, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.25L. Mayhem Storm was cleared.
