Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Girvasi, the trainer of Annabelle Lee regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Annabelle Lee last raced on 2 August, 2018 and is returning to racing following a change of kennel. Mr. Girvasi also declared a new weight of 26.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Annabelle Lee last raced at 24.7kgs. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Bintang Bullet upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Doc Meaney was slow to begin.  Jennifer Eccles, Chopping Spuds and Bintang Bullet collided soon after the start checking Bintang Bullet.  Prince Ferno was checked off Annabelle Lee on the first turn.  Party Muscles and My Bro Black collided on the first turn checking My Bro Black and Chopping Spuds.

Blue Suede Shoes, Hurricane Blake and More Despondent were slow to begin.  Blue Suede Shoes and More Despondent collided approaching the first turn checking Ballistic Lass and My Girl Chezza.  Yuken Sunshine crossed out and raced wide on the first turn.  More Despondent and Inter Helen collided on the home turn checking Inter Helen.  Blue Suede Shoes and Yuken Sunshine collided in the home straight.  Blue Suede Shoes tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Blue Suede Shoes was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind toe, no stand down period was imposed.

Double Attitude, Belle Licious and Yuken Win collided soon after the start checking Yuken Win.  Horus Blue falterd approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Yuken Win and Belle Licious collided on the first turn.  Yuken Win was checked off Dreamliner on the home turn.  Black Dash Three and Cloncurry Girl collided in the home straight.  Belle Licious and Yuken Win raced wide in the home straight.

Horus Blue was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Ninetymile Donny and Rocky's Kayo were slow to begin.  Ninetymile Donny and Spectator collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Sharon's Gold and Gypsy Kiowa collided approaching the first turn checking Gypsy Kiowa.  Spectator, Sharon's Gold and Run Maggie Run collided on the first turn checking Spectator, Gypsy Kiowa and Sharon's Gold.

Galloping Bluboy was slow to begin.  Nukem crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Romany Girl and Split Pea.  Woody's My Name eased on the first turn checking Yuken Pay Me.  Galloping Bluboy and Nukem collided on the first turn.  Woody's My Name eased on the home turn checking Yuken Pay Me, Romany Girl and Galloping Bluboy.  Lexi Cristalle and Woody's My Name collided in the home straight.  Woody's My Name eased approaching the winning post checking Lexi Cristalle, Romany Girl and Split Pea and severely checking Yuken Pay Me.

The all clear for this event was delayed to allow the Stewards to view the video replay after the position of the lure became closer than the required distance on the first turn. Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the outcome of the event was affected and announced all clear. 

Woody's My Name was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind leg, no stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Moles, the trainer of Woody's My Name regarding the greyhound's performance during the event. Mr Moles stated that in his opinion the greyhound eased on the first turn due to the position of the lure. Steward's took Mr Moles' submission into consideration and accepted that the greyhound may have eased on the first turn as a result of the position of the lure, however taking into consideration that the greyhound eased on two subsequent occasions directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 71. 

Stewards spoke to the lure driver following the event who stated that there was a delayed response with the lure resulting in the leading greyhound being to close to the lure on the first turn.  GRV has took immediate action to rectify the fault.

A pre-race sample was taken from Macalister Ike.

Mizuki was quick to begin.  Going In Style and Tarquin Bob were slow to begin.  Holyfield and Macalister Ike collided approaching the first turn.  Holyfield, Supa Shalala and Doused In Mud collided on the first turn checking Supa Shalala.  Macalister Ike and Freedom Fire collided approaching the home turn.  Mizuki and Going In Style collided entering the home straight.

Supa Shalala was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and left chest muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Spence regarding the direction that the greyhound Tarquin Bob be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Gee Dalton.

New Fire Girl stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Takaho Tiger and Gee Dalton collided soon after the start.  Wolf Point and Architecture collided approaching the first turn checking Architecture.  Takaho Tiger and Gee Dalton collided on the first turn checking Takaho Tiger.  Wolf Point was checked off Gee Dalton approaching the home turn.

Adala Prince was a late scratching at 2.19pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Patrick Ryan was fined the sum of $100.

Weeona Garf was slow to begin.  Titanium Boy and Bela Natali collided soon after the start checking Bela Natali.  Ann Cherie and Pilot Pete collided approaching the home turn.  Titanium Boy and Weeona Garf collided approaching the home turn checking Titanium Boy.  Weeona Garf and Bela Natali collided on the home turn.

Agent Voilet was vetted following an incident in the catching pen.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Mandela Sun and Tinderella were quick to begin.  Farfalla Nera was checked off Delta's Magic approaching the first turn.  Jonny Bravo and Delta's Magic collided on the first turn.  Speedway Lass and Cersei collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Tinderella and Mandela Sun collided on the home turn.
