Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Ferguson the trainer of Titanium Boy regarding the amount of time the greyhound has had between races. Titanium Boy last raced on 29/07/18. Mr. Ferguson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Titanium Boy.
Titanium Boy was quick to begin. Titanium Boy, Ann Cherie and Need A Zac collided soon after the start. Titanium Boy, Ann Cherie and Galloping Bluboy collided on the first turn checking Galloping Bluboy. Bela Natali was checked off Sweet Spolly approaching the home turn. Aston Narita stumbled on the home turn and lost ground. Bela Natali and Sweet Spolly collided on the home turn. Bela Natali, Titanium Boy and Ann Cherie collided entering the home straight. Titanium Boy, Galloping Bluboy and Sweet Spolly collided in the home straight.
Aston Narita was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left gluteal, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
