Stewards spoke to Mr Richard Gray, the trainer of Fargo Victorem regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Fargo Victorem last raced on 29 August, 2018. Mr Gray stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after right hind foot injury. Mr Gray also declared a new weight of 31.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Fargo Victorem last raced at 30.3kg

Sandy's My Name and Fargo Victorem were quick to begin. Racing Opal and Senor Diego were slow to begin. Sandy's My Name and Fargo Victorem collided soon after the start. Deering Danae, Grudge and Senor Diego collided approaching the first turn. Senor Diego and Queen's Grace collided on the first turn, checking Senor Diego. Swift Spur and Why Not Archie collided soon after the start, checking Swift Spur, causing Swift Spur and Calabrese Bullet to collide. Swift Spur checked off Proven Chat on the first turn, checking Swift Spur to stumble and lose ground. Vanderville and Dubai Prince collided approaching the winning post. 

Swift Spur was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Proven Chat was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a abraded left paw pad, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

The Semaphore board was incorrectly showing this event as Race Three. 

Bro Wizard and Happy Tails collided on the first turn. Happy Tails checked off Split Chic on the first turn, checking Dana Kadi and Brave Hearted. Happy Tails and Brave Hearted collided on the second turn. Brave Hearted raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Happy Tails raced wide in the home straight. Bro Wizard raced wide in the home straight.

Brave Hearted was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Aaron Debattista, the trainer of Hammerhead regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Hammer Head last raced on 13th April 2018.Mr Debattista stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right hock injury. Hammer Head ran a clearing trial at Bendigo on 5th December 2018 and was cleared.

Hammer Head was quick to begin. Dashing Dino was slow to begin. Vintage Storm and Spur collided approaching the first turn, checking Spur which lost ground. Hammer Head, Vintage Storm and Tat Barbie raced wide in the home straight.

Spur was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left carpal sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr Michael Said regarding the greyhound Spur performance. Mr Said stated that the greyhound has had several ongoing injuries and that he will retire the greyhound. Stewards noted his explanation and took no further action.

All Inn Roselee, Aston Ute and El Donberto were quick to begin. Ramble Tamble and Izza Lektra collided soon after the start. Half Proven and All Inn Roselee collided approaching the first turn, checking All Inn Roselee. Ramble Tamble and Aston Ute collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.
