Saint Ray was quick to begin.

Bolare, All Inn Taylor, Gunmetal Liam and Seabrook Indi collided soon after the start checking Gunmetal Liam. Super Stoked and Seabrook Indi collided approaching the first turn checking Wackadooka, Bolare and Gunmetal Liam. Super Stoked and All Inn Taylor collided approaching the home turn, both greyhounds raced wide as a result.
