Steward's Report
Chopping Spuds and Vineyard were quick to begin.
I'll Swap Ya and Super Attitude collided soon after the start. Chopping Spuds, Dyna Eren and Got No Issues collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Eren galloped on Chopping Spuds on the first turn checking Chopping Spuds, Yuken Toucan and severely checking Dyna Eren which fell as a result. Got No Issues and Vineyard collided approaching the winning post checking Got No Issues.
Dyna Reen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained head trauma and was humanely euthanased.
Got No Issues was vetted and re-vetted following event 5. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr J. Harrington, the trainer of Got No Issues regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. After reviewing the available video replay and taking into consideration that there was no head on footage available for this event due to technical difficulties ,Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that a charge of failing to chase was appropriate on this occasion. The head on issue was rectified for the remainder of the race meeting.
