Chopping Spuds and Vineyard were quick to begin.

I'll Swap Ya and Super Attitude collided soon after the start.  Chopping Spuds, Dyna Eren and Got No Issues collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Eren galloped on Chopping Spuds on the first turn checking Chopping Spuds, Yuken Toucan and severely checking Dyna Eren which fell as a result.  Got No Issues and Vineyard collided approaching the winning post  checking Got No Issues.

Dyna Reen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained head trauma and was humanely euthanased.

Got No Issues was vetted and re-vetted following event 5.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr J. Harrington, the trainer of Got No Issues regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. After reviewing the available video replay and taking into consideration that there was no head on footage available for this event due to technical difficulties ,Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that a charge of failing to chase was appropriate on this occasion. The head on issue was rectified for the remainder of the race meeting. 

Got Goosebumps was quick to begin.

Aston Jekyll and Dundee Jive collided soon after the start checking Lightwood Lass and Aston Jekyll, causing Aston Jekyll to stumble.  Dundee Jive and Final Chimes collided approaching the first turn checking Dundee Jive.  Wake Up Wilma, Aston Jekyll and Final Chimes collided on the first turn checking Wake Up Wilma, Dr. Chella and severely checking Aston Jekyll and Final Chimes.  Got Goosebumps and Dundee Jive collided approaching the home turn checking Lightwood Lass and severely checking Got Goosebumps.

Final Chimes was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre-race sample was taken from Yelredda Saint upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Despard, the trainer of Bags Of Bucks regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bags Of Bucks last raced on 5 July 2018 and is returning to racing from a left metatarsal injury.

Shooters Ali was slow to begin.

Shooters Ali and Bags Of Bucks collided on the first turn.  Goodbye Goldie checked off Bags Of Bucks approaching the home turn.  Mayhem Flyer and Cosa Bona collided entering the home straight.  Bags Of Bucks checked off Cosa Bona entering the home straight.

Voluptuous Ruby was a late scratching at 8.41am due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Kubla De Kahn was very slow to begin (4 lengths).

Rockin' Bar Lil and Pinky Tuscadero collided approaching the first turn.

Magic Maya and New Apollo collided soon after the start.  Surfonic Gold, Magic Maya and New Apollo collided approaching the first turn.  Double Black, Dynamic Rainbow and Jonny Bravo collided on the first turn checking Jonny Bravo.  Magic Maya and New Apollo collided on the first turn.  Double Black, Jonny Bravo and Dashing Dino collided approaching the home turn.  Double Black and Magic Maya collided on the home turn. 

Temujin, Kukudio and Dr. Annie were quick to begin.

John's Choice and Dr. Bodacious collided on the first turn.  Holly's Affair and Iggy Wiggy collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Bossy Caleb was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Hypo Chared trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 24.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.16, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5 1/2 lengths.  Hypo Chared was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Mahjong Magic trialled over the 400mtrs from box 8, weight 34.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.16, the greyhound won by a margin of 1 length. Mahjong Magic was Cleared.
