Nellie Shan went up with the lids and was slow to begin.
Winter Soldier and Quip Allen collided soon after the start. Fawn Secrets, Winter Soldier and Reggie Ryan collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Bombora Rocket checked off Reggie Ryan on the first turn. Reggie Ryan contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Notorious King raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.
Reggie Ryan was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
