Stewards spoke to Mr Keith Kelly, the trainer of Dyna Gabba regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dyna Gabba last raced on 13th July, 2018. Mr Kelly stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.
Stewards spoke to Ms Tina Womann, the trainer of Chilling Story regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Chilling Story last raced on 17th July, 2018. Ms Womann stated that the greyhound was returing to racing after a toe injury.
Dyna Gabba was quick to begin. Chilling Story was slow to begin.
Kimura and Vienna Charm collided approaching the first turn. Shadrack and Chilling Story collided approaching the first turn. Kimura and Shadrack collided on the first turn. Vienna Charm and Chilling Story collided on the first turn, checking Chilling Story and severely checking Vienna Charm. Dyna Gabba and Middle Chic collided approaching the home turn.
