Chief Bronie and Pectoralis collided soon after the start. Tomassi and Lucina Motief collided approaching the first turn, checking Lucina Motief. She's Got Bounce checked off Mack Trident approaching the first turn. Candy Chimes and Tomassi collided on the first turn. Pectoralis and Mack Trident collided approaching the home turn, checking Mack Trident. Mack Trident checked off Candy Chimes on the home turn.

Sky Wesley and Fabamena collided on the first turn, severely checking Fabamena. Black Sharday and Calcaneal collided approaching the home turn. Zipping Chance and Calcaneal collided on the home turn. Stewards spoke to Mr Keith Kelly, the trainer of Dyna Gabba regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Dyna Gabba last raced on 13th July, 2018. Mr Kelly stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

Stewards spoke to Ms Tina Womann, the trainer of Chilling Story regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Chilling Story last raced on 17th July, 2018.  Ms Womann stated that the greyhound was returing to racing after a toe injury.

Dyna Gabba was quick to begin. Chilling Story was slow to begin.

Kimura and Vienna Charm collided approaching the first turn. Shadrack and Chilling Story collided approaching the first turn. Kimura and Shadrack collided on the first turn. Vienna Charm and Chilling Story collided on the first turn, checking Chilling Story and severely checking Vienna Charm. Dyna Gabba and Middle Chic collided approaching the home turn.

Monoak and Terrigal Tornado collided on the second turn,  checking Terrigal Tornado. Monoak checked off Living Daylights approaching the home turn.

Sudden Call and Riverdale Paddy collided on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr Stephen Tabb, the trainer of Captain Universe regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Captain Universe last raced on 29th June, 2018. Mr Tabb stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an extended spell.

Mask was slow to begin.

Captain Universe and Riverdale Sugar collided approaching the home turn. Captain Universe checked off Riverdale Sugar on the home turn and collided with Zefron. Mexican Ned and Captain Universe collided in the home straight. Zefron checked off Riverdale Sugar in the home straight. Avatar Blaze raced wide in the home straight. Mexican Ned and Captain Universe collided approaching the winning post checking Captain Universe and Riverdale Sugar.

Dontron checked off Parvati Grange on the first turn, checking Gold Attraction, Why Not Archie and Seabrook Dill. Why Not Archie and Dontron collided approaching the home turn, checking Seabrook Dill.
