Still Quick clipped the heels of Golden Moon on the first turn checking Still Quick causing Refueled to fall. Golden Moon and Lil Black Dress collided approaching the home turn checking Golden Moon. Still Quick clipped the heels of Not Yours Frank on the home turn. Golden Moon and Not Yours Frank collided in the home straight and approaching the winning post.

Refueled was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Elsa Victorem and Bashful Boy collided soon after the start checking Bashful Boy. You Jager and Elsa Victorem collided approaching the first turn checking You Jager. Stewards spoke and issued a warning to Ms. H. Blackney handler regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Wendy Maria.

Brave Hearted went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (8L). 

Winter Soldier, Anna Victorem and Noble Weetbix collided on the first turn checking Anna Victorem, Noble Weetbix and Black Sharday. Brave Hearted crossed to the outside on the home turn and raced wide entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Perplexing crossed to the rail approaching the winning post checking Noble Weetbix.

Stewards spoke to Ms M.Geall regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Zipping Eleanor.  Stewards directed that Zipping Eleanor be boxed first in future events.

Mr Daryl Weightman, trainer of Hooked On You declared a new weight of 34.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Hooked On You last raced at 35.9kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Hayes, the trainer of Stevie Gee regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Stevie Gee last raced on 1st August 2018. Mr. Hayes stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a spell.

Pyrenees Acclaim and Stevie Gee were quick to begin. Crainy's Wish, Doc Nam and Piccolo Panther collided soon after the start checking Doc Nam. Fred's My Name and Taylor Bale collided soon after the start checking Fred's My Name. Doc Nam and Fred's My Name collided on the first turn. Taylor Bale and Crainy's Wish collided approaching the home turn checking Crainy's Wish which collided with Piccolo Panther. Pyrenees Acclaim and Stevie Gee collided on the home turn. Speed Alert raced wide in the home straight.

Conde and Miss Crazy collided on the first turn. Conde and Wild Sticks collided approaching the home turn checking Wild Sticks. Krisbar Blue Fox and Proven Chat collided entering the home straight. Miss Crazy and Proven Chat collided in the home straight checking Miss Crazy.

Proven Chat was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hind limb, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Meeting Comments:-

Re-Vetted Greyhound - Shamrock Valley was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was Cleared to race. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Newman, the trainer of Scarlett Tilly regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Scarlett Tilly last raced on 27th December 2017. Mr. Newman stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Scarlett Tilly trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 28.7kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.31, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 23.75L. Scarlett Tilly was not cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Lightning Ben trialled over the 425mt from box 3, weight 33.2kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.31, the greyhound won by a margin of 2L. Lightning Ben was cleared.
