Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Gladman, the trainer of Splash Of Blue regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Splash Of Blue last raced on 10th April, 2018. Mr. Gladman stated the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennels.
Splash Of Blue and I'm Electric collided soon after the start checking Splash Of Blue. Storm Search, Manzeene Man, Inga Ted and Bush Destroyer collided approaching the first turn checking Manzeene Man and Bush Destroyer. Storm Search and Inga Ted collided on the first turn checking Inga Ted. I'm Electric checked off Winlock Tabatha on the first turn. Flying Hareeba and I'm Electric collided approaching the home turn checking Flying Hareeba, I'm Electric and Bush Destroyer. Manzeene Man checked off Flying Hareeba on the home turn. Flying Hareeba faltered in the home straight.
Flying Hareeba was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Inga Ted which fell on the finish on lure was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left front metacarpal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Bush Destroyer which fell on the finish on lure was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
