A pre-race sample was taken from Logisitic Kid.
Subscapularis and Katlin were slow to begin. Crackerjack Tim, Slingshot Jayla and Flying Action collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking Crackerjack Tim and Slingshot Jayla. Subscapularis checked off Logistic Kid on the first turn checking Slingshot Jayla and Flying Action and severely checking Crackerjack Tim and Subscapularis; Crackerjack Tim galloped on the heels of Subscapularis causing Subscapularis to stumble as a result.
Subscapularis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to its left front and right hind legs. No stand down period was imposed.
