A pre-race sample was taken from Head Banger.
Miss Pocket Aces, Head Banger and Undenied Access collided soon after the start checking Head Banger. Petey Baqui checked off Miss Pocket Aces on the first turn; Petey Baqui lost ground from that point and finished tailed off. Undenied Access galloped on the heels of Miss Pocket Aces on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Silver Cupcake checked off Smart Mary approaching the home turn. Silver Cupcake checked off Hot Cruiser in the home straight.
Petey Baqui was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right triangle muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
