Steward's Report
Kennels closed approximately 5 minutes late due to the two late scratchings and to allow extra time for Mr Presutto to arrive who was delayed enroute due to traffic.
Catfish Fozz was quick to begin. Banknote was slow to begin. Saxon Candy went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Wok Djay, Keep On Runnin' and She's A Mitzi collided approaching the first turn checking Wok Djay and Keep On Runnin'. Wok Djay and Keep On Runnin' collided on the first turn checking Keep On Runnin'. Catfish Fozz and She's A Mitzi collided approaching the home turn checking Catfish Fozz. Saxon Candy checked off Keep On Runnin' approaching the home turn. Wok Djay and Banknote raced wide entering the home straight. She's A Mitzi and Temporalis collided approaching the winning post.
Keep On Runnin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to its hind paws and evidence of cramping post run. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. M. Tabb, the trainer of Temporalis regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
