Steward's Report
Magical Diamond and Banana Honeybear were quick to begin. County Lineman and La Caprice were slow to begin.
County Lineman and Wolf's Nightcall collided approaching the first turn checking Wolf's Nightcall. County Lineman, Fancy Moon and Banana Honeybear collided approaching the home turn checking Fancy Moon and Banana Honeybear. La Caprice checked off Wolf's Nightcall approaching the home turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Fancy Moon - winner of the event.
Stewards spoke with Ms Deborah White, the trainer/handler of Banana Honeybear regarding her difficulty in boxing this greyhound. Stewards informed Ms White of the provisions of GAR 45 in that handlers are expected to be physically capable of performing the duties of handling to the required standard or another handler will be appointed in their place, by Stewards. The matter has been left with Ms White to self-regulate the issue however a warning was issued and the Stewards will act, if it was to again occur. Ms White's future endeavours will be monitored as will the boxing manners of Banana Honeybear.
